HODGDON, Maine — Power was temporarily disrupted in the area after a driver lost control of his 2006 Chevrolet pickup, skidded off Calais Road and crashed into a utility pole, according to a statement from the Maine State Police.

The driver, Isac Quint, 19, of Hodgdon, was not injured, but the truck was totaled.

The utility pole broke as a result of the crash, which occurred early Sunday afternoon.

Power was restored after the Houlton Water Co. replaced the broken pole.
