TREMONT, Maine — A local man and three others are facing charges after police reportedly broke up an underage drinking party in the local village of Bass Harbor.

Southwest Harbor police called the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department on Friday after Ryan Dyer, 19, of Bass Harbor allegedly tried to get away by running into the woods near McKinley Market in Bass Harbor, Deputy Travis Frost wrote in a summary report about the incident. Frost found Dyer and, after taking him back to his house, summoned Dyer on charges of possession of a usable amount of marijuana, sale and use of drug paraphernalia, possession of alcohol by a minor and furnishing a place for minors to consume alcohol.

Also summoned was Adam Perruzzi, 20, of Southwest Harbor on a charge of possession of alcohol by a minor and Jarrett Sanner, 22, of Southwest Harbor on charges of possession of a usable amount of marijuana and furnishing alcohol to minors. A juvenile, who police declined to identify, also was summoned on a charge of possession of alcohol.

Additional information about the incident was unavailable Monday. Top officials with the Southwest Harbor Police Department were not in the office Monday and were unavailable for comment, according to a dispatcher.
