HOULTON – Gerald J. Wright, 84, died Dec. 31, 2013 at his residence. He was born April 6, 1929 at Houlton, the son of John P. Sr. and Theodosia (Folsom) Wright.
Gerald was a member of Saint Mary of the Visitation Church. He was a employed with Smith Brothers Plumbing, then many years with Harbison Plumbing and Heating until his retirement. Gerald loved spending time with the apple of his eye granddaughter Violet. He looked forward to fishing and fiddleheading.
Gerald is survived by his wife Rosamond (Upton) Wright of Houlton; two sons David Wright of New Limerick, Stephen Wright and his wife Crystal of Houlton; granddaughter Violet Rose-Mary Wright; special family friend Alicia Marie Bell four sisters Maxine Gildred, Jean Emery, Mary Arch and Elizabeth Cone; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and his brothers John Jr. and Robert.
Friends may call Saint Mary of the Visitation Church Saturday 10:00 AM until the time of a Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM with Rev. David Raymond celebrant. Spring interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
