BLUE HILL, Maine — As a result of slippery roads, a tractor-trailer jackknifed in Blue Hill on Friday morning, causing the road to be blocked off for almost two hours, according to a dispatcher at the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office.

The truck blocked Route 172, in between the towns of Surry and Blue Hill.

At 9:33 a.m., a tow truck was able to straighten out the tractor-trailer and traffic was cleared.
