CRYSTAL – Louella York, 90, died Jan. 5, 2014, in Houlton. She was born Oct. 25, 1923, in Island Falls, the daughter of David and Alice (Socia) Emery.
She is survived by two children, Brian and wife, Laurie, of Eddington, and Charlene Slauenwhite of Crystal; four grandchildren, Edward Slauenwhite, Paula Alexander, Jean York, and Eddie York; three great-grandchildren, Anthony Slauenwhite, Brandi Good, and Levi York of Abbot Village; five great-great-grandchildren, Tabby, Rory, Ember, Ashyn, and Roan; and a half brother, Raymond Faulkner of Island Falls. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Edward; and son, Edward Jr.
At Louella’s request there will be no calling hours or funeral at this time. Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home, Houlton.
