PERU, Maine — One person is dead after a motor vehicle crash in Oxford County on Friday morning.
The accident occurred on Route 108 near the Peru-Rumford town line, according to an Oxford County Sheriff’s Office dispatcher.
The road has been closed to traffic, the dispatcher said, and will be for the foreseeable future.
The identity of the victim was not immediately available.
