PORTER, Maine — A brief search for a local woman Wednesday ended well as she was found in good condition.
Lillian Larose, 67, had left her Bickford Pond Road home to go skiing in this Cumberland County town around 11 a.m., according to Maine Warden Service Cpl. John MacDonald.
Authorities were called by a friend when Larose did not return home when expected, MacDonald said.
Shortly before 4 p.m., game wardens found Larose, the corporal said.
Larose appeared to be in good health when found and is being evaluated by medical personnel.
