WOODSTOCK, N.B., and LEVANT – Marie Cecilia Phelps, 76, passed away Feb. 5, 2014, at the Riverside Court Retirement Residence, Woodstock, N.B.
Marie is survived by one sister, Ann (Clarence) Marks of Saint John N.B.; three sisters-in-law, Dolly Foster of Bairdsville, N.B., Dorothy Foster of Moose Mountain, N.B., and Rita Phelps of Utica, N.Y.; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, William B. Phelps; her parents, Timothy and Sarah (Oakes) Foster; sister, Leota Perkins; two brothers, Lionel (Leonald) Foster and Gary Foster; and two brothers-in-law, Leo Perkins and Jack Phelps.
Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Maine St., Woodstock, N.B., with visitation 2-6 p.m. Atlantic Time, Friday, Feb. 7. Funeral services will be held noon Saturday, Feb. 8, at Hermon Baptist Church, 2496 Route 2, Hermon, with the Rev. Garnett Chute, pastor, officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to call 11 a.m. until time of service. Spring internment will be at Snow’s Corner Cemetery, Hermon. New Brunswick arrangements are by Scott Funeral Home and local arrangements are a service of Brookings-Smith, Bangor.
