GRAY, Maine — Two adults and five children escaped a fire Monday morning at a home at 16 Weymouth Road.
No one was injured by smoke, heat or flames, which destroyed the home, according to Portland ABC affiliate WMTW-TV.
The fire was reported at approximately 8 a.m. and extinguished by midmorning, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.
WMTW reports that investigators believe combustible items placed near a heater ignited the blaze.
