BANGOR, Maine — A person was brought to a local hospital Thursday morning after Bangor police were called to Walmart on Stillwater Avenue for the report of a stab wound.
Officers were sent to the scene shortly before 10 a.m., according to Bangor police Sgt. Cathy Rumsey, after it was reported somebody had a stab wound.
When police arrived, they determined the stab wound was self-inflicted and brought the victim to a local hospital. The victim’s name or gender was not disclosed.
Walmart did not close during the incident and the public was never in any danger, Rumsey said.
