A state police dispatcher said Thursday afternoon the deceased man is Anthony Takacs, 24, of Albion.

Nicole Wentworth, 24, also of Albion, was in the vehicle with Takacs and suffered a bump to the head but was otherwise not injured, the dispatcher said.

The accident occurred Wednesday around 9 p.m. when Takacs lost control of his vehicle on a slushy Western Avenue and collided with a Maine Department of Transportation vehicle.
