RUMFORD, Maine — Personnel from the Oxford County Sheriff’s Department, the Maine State Police and local municipal police departments are at the scene of an officer-involved shooting in Rumford, an Oxford County emergency dispatcher has confirmed.
The shooting took place at a residence at 77 Maine Ave., the dispatcher said. Additional information Tuesday evening was not immediately available.
