PITTSFIELD, Maine — A local man was arrested Friday afternoon after sheriff’s deputies executed a drug search warrant at his home, police said.
Scott Salley, 29, has been involved in the sale of prescription drugs over the last few years, according to Detective Lt. Carl Gottardi of the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office.
The search warrant at Salley’s Hartland Avenue residence was performed by sheriff’s deputies at 3:30 p.m. Friday, according to Gottardi.
Seized in the warrant were 15- and 30-milligram oxycodone pills, drug paraphernalia, drug-related documentation, a food stamp card that belongs to someone who does not live at Salley’s residence, and articles used to facilitate drug trafficking activities, Gottardi said.
Salley was charged with two counts of possession of a Schedule W drug and one count of trafficking in a Schedule W drug, Gottardi said. Two others at the residence were searched and released.
Further charges against Salley are possible as the case is reviewed by the district attorney’s office, Gottardi said. He was brought to Somerset County Jail and released on bail.
