VASSALBORO, Maine — A South China woman was killed in a single-vehicle accident on Stone Road on Friday afternoon, state police said.
Troopers on scene said the vehicle driven by Aundria St. Amand, 18, left the road on a curve and struck a tree, according to Maine Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland. Police are still attempting to determine why her car left the road.
No other information was immediately available.
