DEXTER, Maine — A second man has been arrested in connection with a burglary of a Dexter pawn shop over the weekend, police said.
Skyler Davis, 20, of Sangerville was charged with burglary following his arrest on Tuesday, Dexter Police Chief Kevin Wintle said.
The burglary at Baltic Pawn Shop on Main Street was reported around 4 a.m. Saturday. The other suspect involved, Henry Murdoch V, 18, of Dexter, was arrested Monday after a burglary at the town’s golf course that morning.
Davis was not involved in the golf course burglary, according to Wintle.
Investigative efforts led police to believe Davis was also involved in the pawn shop burglary, in which glass on a front door was smashed to gain entry, Wintle said.
Davis was brought in for an interview at the Dexter police station and was arrested following the conclusion of the interview, the police chief said. He was released on bail from the station and is due in court July 17.
