ORRINGTON — Bangor YMCA is hosting its annual Tri for the Y Sprint Triathlon at 8 a.m. on Sunday, July 20, at Brewer Lake Boat Launch in Orrington. Proceeds will provide camp, membership and program scholarships for children and teens. Triathletes will swim 750 meters in Brewer Lake, do a 12.4-mile bicycle ride through Orrington; and 3.1-mile out-and-back run. The Y will offer preparation training courses.
