BANGOR, Maine — A Brewer woman with ties to suspended used car dealer Glenn Geiser Jr. has withdrawn her application with the state to sell used cars, according to Deputy Secretary of State Patty A. Morneault.
Gwendolyn Reddy, who lives at Geiser’s house in Brewer, according to city records, filed an application to sell used cars under the business name Bangor Car Solutions. On May 22, she got initial approval but still needed a site inspection, Morneault said.
Maine Department of Motor Vehicle inspectors went to 180 Washington St., the former My Maine Ride location on May 28 to do the inspection but failed to meet up with Reddy. They returned the following day, Morneault said, and they learned Reddy intended to withdraw her application but had not yet done so.
Morneault confirmed Tuesday that Reddy has withdrawn her application.
