EASTPORT — John Cushing recorded a double, three singles and scored three runs to lift the Shead Tigers to an 11-1 high school baseball victory over the Woodland Dragons in the Downeast Athletic Conference championship Saturday.
Will Urquhart chipped in with a single and three runs and Steve Morrison drove in a run. Four different pitchers held the Dragons to three hits over six innings.
Chad Gagner, Riley Pratt and Alec McGaw each singled for Woodland.
