BANGOR, Maine — A 31-year-old local man was arrested Sunday afternoon after allegedly taking another man’s laptop from his residence, police said.
Police were called to an Ohio Street home shortly after 6 p.m., when a resident noticed a parked vehicle that had belonged to Christopher Goehringer, according to Bangor police Sgt. Tim Cotton.
The victim claimed that Goehringer had stolen a laptop from his bedroom, according to Cotton, and police were able to locate the missing computer.
A witness also claimed they saw Goehringer’s vehicle pull into the driveway
Goehringer was placed under arrest and charged with burglary and theft. He was taken to Penobscot County Jail.
