FARMINGTON, Maine — An Arizona transient was arrested Monday after allegedly exposing himself to several people on a walking trail, according to police.

Ronald Oberst, 47, is facing a charge of indecent exposure, Farmington Police Secretary Bonnie Pomeroy said Wednesday.

Pomeroy said Oberst had been camping out in an area along the Sandy River that is heavily used for recreation.

“We had three different calls about him,” Pomeroy said.

The first time, police were unable to locate Oberst, but the second and third calls to police were made in close proximity and officers were able to identify and arrest him, Pomeroy said.

She added that Oberst had exposed himself to three men who were walking down a trail and other callers as well.

Oberst was taken to Franklin County Jail after his arrest.
