HAMPDEN, Maine— Rosalie Deer Heart of Stetson announced the recent publication of her eighth book, Soul Befriending: High Beam Living and Loving.” The book, she said, contains several Maine-based stories, including “The Truth and Reconciliation Initiative” as well as a community forgiveness ritual that Mother Rita of St. John’s Episcopal Church brought back with her after a sabbatical in Russia.
Deer Heart will talk about her new book at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, at Edythe Dyer Library in Hampden. Her books will be available for purchase and signing.
