GRAY, Maine — Stormy weather was bearing down on Maine on Wednesday afternoon, and the National Weather Service has all of Maine on alert.

A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for the entire state through 10 p.m. Wednesday, according to the weather service.

Rain and heavy thunderstorms were moving into the state early Wednesday afternoon.

The forecasted storms have forced the cancellation of one flight out of Bangor International Airport.

The scheduled 3:30 p.m. departure to Philadelphia has been cancelled, along with the arriving 3 p.m. flight from Philadelphia.
