ELLSWORTH – Kenneth Howard Karst, 92, died July 23, 2014 in Brewer. He
was born in Bar Harbor, February 01, 1922, son of George and
Della Karst.
He enjoyed gardening and yard work. He was a past member
of the Union Congregational Church in Ellsworth Falls,
member of the Lygonia Masonic Lodge # 40, A.F. & A.M. in
Ellsworth, Anah Shrine in Bangor, and American Legion Post
#63 in Ellsworth.
Kenneth is survived by his son, Kerry Karst and wife Snookey
of Clifton; and granddaughter, Ashely Marie Karst of
Montana. He was predeceased by his wife, Kathleen; siblings,
Robert, Francis, and Doris.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm, Tuesday, July 29,
2014 at Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin St. Ellsworth with Pastor
Kevin D. Jones officiating. Interment will be in Brookside
