PORTLAND, Maine — Officials are responding to a multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 295 in Portland.
Maine Department of Transportation spokesman Ted Talbot said in a statement released shortly after 3 p.m. the crash occurred in the highway’s southbound lanes on Tukey’s Bridge.
Motorists are being advised to seek alternative routes.
No other details were immediately available.
