ROCKLAND, Maine — A proposal to erect antennae on top of the Breakwater Marketplace is scheduled to go before the planning board later this month.
Breakwater Marketplace LLC and Verizon Wireless filed an application with the city’s code enforcement office to have a 200-square-foot structure on top of the building that will allow for placement of several 10-foot-tall antennae on the roof.
The project is expected to cost $150,000 and take four to six weeks to complete, according to the application.
The Rockland Planning Board will hear the proposal for 91 Camden St. at its Sept. 23 meeting.
