AUGUSTA, Maine — Police say one suspect hit up two different Rite Aid stores Tuesday night – just minutes apart.
In one surveillance image, Augusta Police say the suspect is seen in a red T-shirt at the counter at the North Belfast Rite Aid, demanding prescription drugs and handing the pharmacist a threatening note. Police say he took off empty-handed.
About 15 minutes later, he apparently changed into a black T-shirt and robbed another Rite Aid on Hospital Street. In that incident, police say he was able to get drugs.
The robberies happened just before 6 p.m. Anyone who recognizes the suspect is urged to call Augusta police at 626-2370.
