AUGUSTA, Maine — Two people have been arrested in connection with a Rite Aid pharmacy robbery in Manchester, according to sheriff’s deputies.

Brooke Frost, 24, and Devon Gray, 26, both of Manchester, are both charged with robbery, stealing drugs, possession of scheduled drugs and theft, according to Sgt. Frank Hatch of the Kennebec County Sheriff’s Office.

The duo were arrested on Tuesday, Hatch said. They are being held at the Kennebec County Jail on $20,000 bail.

The sergeant said surveillance images from the pharmacy were key in producing the arrests. He said Gray allegedly went into the store to make sure there were no security guards, and waited inside a vehicle while Frost went to the counter and demanded drugs.

The robbery occurred on Saturday, and marked the second time in a month the Rite Aid on Western Avenue had been held up.

Hatch said the incident remains under investigation.
