SACO, Maine — Local police are seeking a man who allegedly robbed a Rite Aid Pharmacy on Main Street on Wednesday night.

Saco Deputy Chief Jeffrey Holland said the robbery was reported shortly after 7:30 p.m.

The robber did not display a weapon and fled the scene on foot, Holland said. It was not disclosed whether he got away with any drugs.

Police tried to track the robber with a police dog, but were not able to locate him. The robber is a white male standing 5’10’’ tall, with a thin build and dark brown hair. He was wearing faded denim blue jeans, a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and a tan baseball cap.

Anybody with information on the robbery is urged to call Saco police at 282-8216.
