BREWER, Maine — Brewer police, in coordination with the Bangor Area Recovery Network and the Brewer School Department, will host a presentation on the dangers of heroin use later this fall.

The presentation will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 3 at the Brewer Performing Arts Center, according to Brewer Public Safety Director Perry Antone.

The presentation is free to the public.

The purpose of the presentation is to educate the public on the significant impact drug abuse and addiction has in the greater Bangor area, according to Antone. Brewer High School students will receive the presentation during the day on Nov. 3.
