CARIBOU, Maine — While the National Weather Service has yet to issue any weather alerts, there is potential Thursday night for some chilling temperatures.

According to the weather service, temperatures in the northern part of the state are expected to dip into the 20’s on Thursday night, with Bangor-area lows expected to be in the low to mid 30’s.

Although the weather service has not issued any frost or freeze watches, the potential for frost or freeze is there with the temperatures expected to dip low throughout the evening.
