ELLSWORTH, Maine — A Milbridge man was issued a summons Monday in connection with the embezzlement of nearly $19,000 from U.S. Cellular.
Trenton Willey, 35, has been charged with Class B theft of services, according to the Ellsworth Police Department. If convicted, Willey faces up to 10 years in prison and a $20,000 fine.
From January until July, Willey credited his own account at U.S. Cellular in the total amount of $18,997 while being employed there, according to Detective Dottie Small.
Wiley’s initial court appearance is set for Nov. 18 in Ellsworth.
