PARSONSFIELD, Maine — A man is dead after a tractor accident on Collins Road Wednesday afternoon, police said.
John David, 66, had been pulling a stump from the ground when his International Farm tractor tipped over, according to Chief Deputy William King of the York County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident was reported shortly after noon, King said.
David was pinned underneath the tractor after it tipped over, according to King. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
