WALDOBORO, Maine — A Waldoboro woman was arrested Wednesday after police raided her home following a probe into cocaine dealing.
Regina Bowman, 41, was arrested and charged with Class B trafficking in cocaine, according to a news release from the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency. She was taken to Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset and has since been released on $15,000 unsecured bail.
Bowman was arrested after MDEA agents and members of the Waldoboro Police and the Lincoln County Sheriff’s office executed a search warrant Wednesday at her residence on Castner Road. The search warrant was obtained after an investigation over several months into cocaine being sold in the Waldoboro and Rockland area, according to MDEA.
Agents seized 17 one-gram bags of cocaine. A gram of cocaine sells for $100, making the street value of the cocaine about $1,700, according to the MDEA. In addition, $3,000 in cash, scales, cutting agents for the cocaine and packaging material were found.
Rockland police and Maine State Police also assisted in the investigation.
