HARRINGTON, Maine — Electricity was restored early Friday evening to more than 2,000 Emera Maine customers affected by an outage caused by a traffic accident that afternoon in Harrington, officials said.
According to a company statement, a vehicle struck a power pole in Harrington, which knocked out power to 2,026 customers in Gouldsboro, Harrington, Milbridge, Roque Bluffs, Steuben and Town Hill shortly after 2:30 p.m.
Power was restored about 6:30 p.m., according to the utility’s website.
