This week marks the halfway point of the 49th edition of the BDN Football Forecast and it remains a fairly tight race among staff prognosticators.
Ernie Clark went 15-5 last week to maintain first place, but his lead shrunk to one game over Larry Mahoney and Joe McLaughlin, each of whom were 16-4 last week. John Holyoke lurks three games back.
Last week’s guest, Lester Cowan of Old Town, turned in a competitive 15-5 card.
This week’s guest is Jason Brooks of Holden, who owns Pine Hill Golf Course in Brewer with wife Katie.
Brooks is a 1994 graduate of Brewer High School where he was a member of the golf and baseball teams. He is also an independent service provider for FedEx.
He has two children, Kayla (14) and Kolby (12).
