ROCKLAND, Maine — The Pearl Seas vessel, Pearl Mist, will make its first stop in Rockland on Wednesday night.

The 210-passenger vessel is making an 11-day cruise from Portland to Quebec.

The ship is expected to arrive at 10 p.m. Wednesday in Rockland Harbor. It will depart at 5 p.m. Thursday.

The Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce will set up information booths Thursday morning at Harbor Park in Rockland and at the Village Green in Camden to greet passengers and provide information on the region.

The ship will be anchored in Rockland Harbor (off Owls Head), and throughout the day , passengers will be taken to the public landing in Rockland. Passengers will be delivered to the mainland starting at 8:30 a.m., with the last tender leaving port about 4 p.m.

A limited area of the public landing at Harbor Park will be open to vehicles. The area also will be open to pedestrians.

Harbor Park will be used for staging of the shore excursion buses and shuttles to both Rockland and Camden destinations. The area from directly in front of Fisherman’s Memorial stage to the harbormaster’s building will be blocked off to accommodate excursion buses, taxis and trolleys.

Parking will be available directly along the sea wall area of Harbor Park to the harbormaster’s office.
