BANGOR – Elizabeth A. “Bette” Crane, 77, died Oct. 4, 2014. Bette died peacefully at her home at Winterberry Heights, with her loving daughter-in-law, Laurie, at her bedside. She was born November 3, 1936 in Bangor, the daughter of Ralph and Thelma (Fortier) Perry.
Bette graduated from John Bapst in 1956. She was employed as a teller for several years at Merrill Trust Bank, and then spent many years as a Mary Kay Consultant. Bette was a member of the Red Hat Society.
In addition to her parents, Bette was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Clark E. Crane; son, Shawn Crane; daughter, Sherry M. (Crane) Clifford; grandson Jacob; brother, Charles Perry; special aunt, Frances. She is survived by two children, Darrell C. Crane and his wife, Carolyn, of Glenburn, Donald S. Crane and his wife, Laurie, of Rumford; daughter-in-law, Aimee Crane of Friendship; seven grandchildren, Christopher, Jenna, Jordan, Eric, Keith, Elizabeth and Benjamin; seven great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Liturgy outside of Mass will be held at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, 11 a.m. Monday, October 13, 2014, followed by the Rite of Committal at Mt.
