HOLDEN, Maine — U.S. Route 1A, which was shut down because of a motor vehicle accident, has been reopened.
The crash happened about 2:45 p.m., a dispatcher for the Penobscot Regional Communications Center said.
Additional details were not immediately available.
The road, also known as Main Road in Holden, was shut down for about an hour.
