MADAWASKA – Rita Chamberlain, 90, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2014 at a Madawaska health care facility. She was born in Fort Kent on September 5, 1924, daughter of the late Fortuna and Delia (Ringuette) Pelletier.
Rita was a kind compassionate person, who always put others needs before hers. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be missed by all.
She is survived by one daughter, Ida Beaulieu and her husband, Ray of Madawaska; one son, Leonard Chamberlain of Eagle Lake; 2 grandchildren, Dale Beaulieu and his wife, Denise of Madawaska, Dana Beaulieu and his companion, April Chasse of Madawaska; one beloved great-granddaughter, Amber Beaulieu of Madawaska; one step-great-granddaughter, Brittany Cyr of Madawaska; one sister, Virginia Bourgoin and her husband, Luke of Madawaska; one brother, Roger Pelletier and his wife, Bella of Madawaska; a special daughter-in-law, Rebecca Brown Chamberlain of Florida; several nieces and nephews. Rita was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Chamberlain; one son, Andrew Chamberlain; two sisters, Ida Larlee and Imelda Little; one brother, Leonard Pelletier.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, October 16, 2014 at the St. Thomas Church. Family and friends may offer their condolences at the church from 9 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. Thursday.
