BRUNSWICK, Maine — Retired U.S. Army Col. David Hunt, a Fox News analyst on war and terrorism, will speak on that topic on Nov. 4 at Bowdoin College’s Kresge Auditorium.

Hunt, who lives in Scarborough, served in the military for more than 29 years and is the recipient of the Distinguished Service Cross, the Silver Star and four Purple Hearts.

He is a New York Times best-selling author whose books include “They Just Don’t Get It: How the Washington Political Machine is Still Compromising Your Safety — and What You Can Do About It” and “On the Hunt: How to Wake Up Washington and Win the War on Terrorism,” as well as the political thriller “Terror Red.”

Hunt served as a tactical adviser in Bosnia, facilitating national intelligence matters and coordinating a $350 million program for the National Security Agency and CIA, according to a release from the college.

Hunt will speak at 7 p.m. in Kresge Auditorium in the Visual Arts Center. The talk is free and open to the public.
