PORTLAND, Maine — A Portland man who allegedly broke into a Portland home and sexually assaulted a child earlier this month was arrested Tuesday in Boston.
Julian Soto, 25, was is charged with unlawful sexual contact and burglary, according to Portland Police Chief Mike Sauschuck.
Soto allegedly broke into a home in the East Bayside area of Portland home early the morning of Oct. 5 and assaulted the child, then fled the apartment when an adult heard the disturbance in the child’s room and went to investigate.
Soto remained in the Suffolk County (Massachusetts) Jail and was expected to appear in court on Wednesday.
