The high school playoffs begin on Friday and the competitors in the 49th BDN Football Forecast are gearing up for the final two weeks of the prognostication season.

Ernie Clark has put himself in command among staff members, going 17-3 last week to push his season advantage to five games over Larry Mahoney, who dropped another game on the lead.
