BANGOR, Maine — The city on Friday announced winter parking regulations will start Saturday.

Between Nov. 1 and March 31, parking is prohibited in all city parking lots between midnight and 6 a.m.

Parking also is prohibited on city streets outside the downtown parking management district between midnight and 6 a.m.

Any vehicles left in city lots may be towed at the owner’s expense.

During downtown parking bans, vehicles may be parked under the Columbia Street Parking Deck or under the Pickering Square Parking Garage next to Kenduskeag Plaza West.

In addition, in areas where parking is not regulated by signs, parking between 6 a.m. and midnight is allowed on odd sides of the street on odd-numbered days, and even-numbered sides of the street on even-numbered days.
