LEBANON, Maine — An Acton man was killed Thursday night in a two-vehicle crash on Route 202, state police said.
Antonio Vieira, 65, was pronounced dead at the scene at the intersection of Route 202 and Long Swamp Road, Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland said.
The driver of the other vehicle, Clarence Butler, 37, of Springvale, suffered injuries not considered life-threatening and was brought by ambulance to Goodall Hospital in Sanford, McCausland said.
Route 202 at the scene of the accident was shut down for more than two hours. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
