Friday night’s LTC Class D football semifinals both have been moved to artificial-turf facilities due to poor field conditions at the original sites school caused by last weekend’s snowstorm.

The battle between top-ranked and undefeated Maine Central Institute (8-0) and No. 4 Mattanawcook Academy of Lincoln (5-3) has been shifted from MCI’s Pittsfield campus to Colby College in Waterville. The opening kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

The semifinal between No. 2 Bucksport (7-1) and No. 3 John Bapst of Bangor (6-2) will be played at 7 p.m. Friday at Maine Maritime Academy in Castine.
