KENNEBUNKPORT — Police say a man is lucky to be alive after he was stabbed early Saturday morning in Kennebunkport by a man police believe is the victim’s brother.
Justin Martin, 25, of Fairfield is being held without bail in the York County Jail after he was arrested on a charge of aggravated domestic violence assault after police found who they believe was his brother in a driveway on Log Cabin Road with stab wounds to the head and neck around 12:40 a.m. Saturday. Police said the wounds are not life-threatening.
Martin was arrested by Kennebunkport police and a York County sheriff’s deputy. Several small children were inside during the execution of a search warrant, police said, making the scene “chaotic.”
Police Chief Craig Sanford said the victim, whose identity was not released, is “lucky to be alive.”
