WASHINGTON, Maine — A Washington man remains on the loose after police said he fled when a deputy tried to arrest him for unpaid fines.
Knox County Sheriff Donna Dennison said John Seavy, 27, of Crystal Lake Road fled on foot shortly before 9 p.m. Thursday night, when Sgt. John Palmer went to a residence where Seavy was staying to arrest him on the outstanding warrant.
Officer Jeremy Joslyn responded to assist with his bloodhound, Gunner, but the deputies and K-9 were unable to locate Seavy.
