BERWICK, Maine — Local police are investigating a fatal traffic accident Wednesday afternoon on Route 9.
Route 9, known locally as School Street, was closed to traffic between Cranberry Meadow and Guinea Road according to Berwick police. The road reopened Wednesday evening.
The accident occurred in the area of the Knowlton School. The name of the victim wasn’t immediately available Wednesday night.
Motorists are advised to drive cautiously in Wednesday’s snowstorm
