WESTBROOK, Maine — A Windham man faces several charges after Westbrook police say he fired a handgun at the Subway restaurant on Brighton Road Friday night.

Robert McGeehan, 31, was arrested Saturday morning at his Roosevelt Trail home after police obtained a search warrant. Westbrook police responded to the Subway around 10:30 p.m. Friday after a report of an assault where a handgun was fired before the suspect left the scene.

After McGeehan was identified as the suspect and police went to his home, he was taken into custody without incident. He faces aggravated reckless conduct, domestic violence criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon and assault. McGeehan was taken to the Cumberland County Jail.
