John Bapst Hockey Alumni Game
BANGOR — Calling all former Crusader hockey players. The annual John Bapst Alumni Hockey Game will be held Saturday, Dec. 27. The puck will drop at 4:10 p.m. at Sawyer Arena, the John Bapst Memorial High School hockey team’s home arena.
To participate in the alumni game, email Sue Pate of the John Bapst Hockey Boosters at suepate@roadrunner.com. Cost is $10 per skater, payable at the game. Registration starts at 3 p.m. Game jerseys will be loaned for the games. Family, friends and fans are invited to watch the game. Admission is free.
Table Tour
AUGUSTA — The Viles Arboretum announced that its annual Table Tour event will take place Feb. 1, at the arboretum.
St the event, more than 300 participants will gather on the arboretum grounds to snowshoe, ski and hike on groomed trails. The fun involves healthy outdoor activity, supports the arboretum and offers great food. Participants get to indulge in some of the best culinary delights available from restaurants and food providers in and around Augusta, from hearty chowder to fresh baked breads.
Trails open at 11 a.m. and trail food will be served till 1 p.m.. Desserts, coffee and hot beverages will be served until 2 p.m. at the main building located at the end of the course.
Tickets are available by calling the Arboretum at 626-7989. Early bird ticket at $20 are available through Jan. 1. After this date, tickets will be $25. The cost to arboretum members is $22.50 and $10 children 10 and under, free toddlers. Tickets also will be available 10-11 a.m. the day of the event from 10:00 – 11:00. Trails open at 11:00 and trail food will be served till 1:00. Desserts, coffee and hot beverages will be served until 2:00 at the main building located at the end of the course.
